New standardised scale, effective 2027. This calculator uses the Namibia Higher Education Evaluation Point Scale (Ministry of Education Circular 01/2026, Annexure A), which applies to ALL higher education institutions from the 2027 academic year. Select your qualification type per subject: NSSCO, NSSCAS, NSSCH, GCE, or IB, and the correct points are applied automatically.

Best 5 vs all 6 subjects. Some institutions only count your best 5 subjects, so a 6th subject will not add to your admission score there. NUST states this in its 2027 admission guide (“calculate the 5 best subjects including English”). UNAM, IUM and Triumphant publish their requirement as “five subjects” and do not say whether a 6th can add points, so use the best-5 total as your main figure and the all-6 total as a reference only. Always confirm with the institution.
